| Scope | Series consists of records relating to the activities of the LACW archives. The council's archivist was responsible for preserving and making accessible the records of the council. Early record books from 1894 - 1962 were arranged in chronological order, numbered I - XVI and indexed by subject to facilitate easy reference. The records in this series include a list of the record books, a subject index file, the archives stamp and film strips of highlights from the archives and newspaper clippings that were shown at the Western Fair.
