| Scope |
Series consists of promotional materials about the LACW that was collected by the organization and its members. Some of the materials, including newspapers, flyers and photographs, were pasted into scrapbooks and collected in binders. The series also includes oversized scrapbook pages, posters and panels that were used in displays as well as flyers, brochures and other promotional materials which were distributed to inform the public about their organization, mandate, events and to encourage membership.
Series also includes several objects such as a metal trivet with the council's logo and a gavel presented to the London Council of Women from Joseph Allan Johnston, the mayor of London, in 1960.
